Ensuring you arrive safely

Road safety is something that we should all be aware of and committed to upholding at all times. With so many cars on the road, and so many possible distractions that can lead to deadly collisions, it is important to always be alert and aware while operating any type of motor vehicle. If at any time, you feel that driving your vehicle isn't the safest course of action, it is not only wise to seek another way home, it is the safest decision you can possibly make for yourself, as well as the other people who share the road. Since we started our company, Safe Designated Drivers has been dedicated to ensuring that drivers in Vancouver and throughout the Lower Mainland stay as safe as possible. We are always happy to accept calls at late hours to come pick up clients who choose not to get behind the wheel, and hopefully as people become more aware of the dangers and penalties associated with impaired driving, the amount of injuries and fatalities seen each year in BC will continue to decline.

Charitable Donations

In an effort to promote such awareness, and give back to our community, Safe Designated Drivers proudly supports charities like MADD in Canada (Mothers Against Drunk Driving). This great charitable organization has been working since 1980 to put an end to impaired driving by raising awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence, while lobbying local governments to increase the penalties applied to those who violate impaired driving laws. Their efforts in places like British Columbia have led to increased fines and penalties for impaired driving, which has already done a lot to keep our roads safer. In addition to raising awareness among law enforcement and citizens alike, MADD works hard to support those who have been victims of impaired driving, and has spent nearly forty years improving the legal as well as health resources available to Canadians who have been involved in a collision caused by a drunk driver.

Safe Designated drivers is also very proud to support the Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia with regular charitable donations. Since 1954, this organization started by parents of children living with cerebral palsy has made efforts to improve the lives and maximize the potential of people who live with this condition. Cerebral Palsy causes people to lose muscle control due to brain damage that begins at a very early age. This loss of muscle control affects mobility, and can lead to a number of other conditions such as speech impediment, chronic pain and even blindness and deafness. Although there is no known cure, thanks to the ongoing efforts of this wonderful charity, awareness of this disorder has vastly increased and management of its symptoms is becoming far easier than ever before. It is the goal of the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC to achieve a Life Without Limits for people living with this disability, and with help from companies like ours, they move closer to that ultimate goal each day.
